This recording was laid down in the same week of the “Cowboy cha-cha” track of Jim Riley’s book. “The survival guide for the modern drummer” is a book that every drummer should have. It covers a variarity of musical styles and you get 124 play alongs so you can apply the grooves you’ve learned in a kind of band situation. As a drummer, you must not limit yourself to specific style of music. You need at least to understand the basic of as many genres possible.  I can’t stress this enough.  The theme of that week was country.

Hope you like the little twist at the end. 🙂
