This track is recorded in June of 2017.  It was the first time I mic’ed up a full drum kit, building a workflow in Pro Tools and trying to get an acceptable sounding mix.  Playing drums in an recording situation is more challenging than you may think.  To get the same confidence in the studio as on stage, you  have to take a lot of time recording yourself so that it will become second nature.  As a side effect, you will massively improve on your playing by listening back what you have done right and wrong in your performance. That said, this song of Jim Riley was a great choice to start with.
